مقدمة Preface

هي سلسلة تهدف إلى التعريف بالشمائل والأخلاق والسمات الصالحة الطيبة التي كان عليها سلفُ الأمة من الحفظ والإتقان والصدق والأمانة  والقوة والشجاعة في الحق والثبات على المبادئ  This series aims to acquaint individuals with the virtues, ethics, and noble qualities that characterized the predecessors of the Muslim community. These traits were marked by their preservation, mastery, honesty, trustworthiness, strength, courage in truth, and steadfastness on principles.

الحلقة الرابعة  Episode -four

صفة الأمانة والصدق والتجرد من العصبية والقرابة وعدم كتم الشهادة  لخدمة هذا الدين الحق حتى لو كان على حساب أقرب الناس الإمام الثقة عالم الحديث وأحد الأئمة الإعلام في الجرح والتعديل علي بن المديني نموذجا

The scholar, who testified against his father when he was asked about his conditions in narrating the Prophet’s hadith, ordered them not to learn the prophetic hadith from him

كان علي بن المديني أحد الأئمة الأعلام الثقات في الحديث والجرح والتعديل في زمانه وكان له تلاميذ وطلاب علم يتلقون العلم عنه وكان والده عبد الله بن جعفر المديني ممن يحدث ولكنه كان ضعيفَ الحديث (ليس ممن يضع الحديث ولكنه غير متقن له ويروي المناكير ) حتى أن كثيرا من الأئمة نركوا حديثه قال عنه الإمام ابن حبان في كتاب المجروحين الجزء الأول صفحة 507 (( كان ممن يهم في الأخبار حتى يأتي بها مقلوبة ويخطيء في الآثار حتى كأنها معمولة )) تعرض علي بن المديني للسؤال عن أبيه هل نأخذ بحديثه ؟وأقسى شيئ على نفس المرء هو شهادته على أبيه حينما يقتضي الحق ذلك والحديث الوالد فيه حرج شديد وحساسية شديدة فلما سئل الإمام علي بن المديني عن أبيه فقال اسألوا غيري فقال سألناك فأطرق وتجرد من كل هوى النفس لأن شهادته للدين فرفع رأسه وقال هذا هو الدين أبي ضعيف وقال قتيبة بن سعيد دخلت بغداد فجعلت أملي عليهم فقلت في المجلس حدثني عبد الله بن جعفر المديني فقام غلام في المجلس فقال يا أبا رجاء ابنه واجد عليه فإذا رضي عنه كتبنا حديثه  

ALI IBN AL-MADINI was among the distinguished and trustworthy scholars in the field of narrating Prophetic hadith(1) (traditions) and distinguishing between the truthful and the deceitful among narrators in his time . He had followers and students who sought knowledge from him.

His father, ABDULLAH IBN JAAFAR AL-MADINI, also narrate the Prophet’s hadith    , but he was weak in narration. (He was not a liar), but his narration of the Prophet’s hadith(1)  has a lack of precision, often narrating unacceptable or criticized narrations.  Many scholars refrained from accepting his narrations.

When ALI IBN AL-MADINI was questioned about his father's status in narrating and transmitting Prophetic Hadith (traditions) , he replied, "Ask someone else." However, when they insisted on questioning him, he remained silent for a while, then he lifted his head and, with utmost integrity and truthfulness in his testimony, he said, "This is the religion. My father is weak in narrating Prophetic Hadith ."
